Valencia have announced that they have agreed a deal to take Negredo on a loan deal with an obligatory purchase clause.

Negreo scored 23 goals from 49 appearances for City last season.

Negredo made his league debut on 19th August 2013, coming on as a substitute for countryman David Silva in a 4—0 home win against Newcastle United. He scored his first goal for the club the following match on 25th August, netting from a header in a 2—3 defeat at newly promoted Cardiff City.
