Micah Richards has expressed his love and gratitude to City after he sealed a season long loan deal to Serie A team Fiorentina. The loan fee was £3.5m rising to £4.7m should the transfer be made permanent at the end of the loan.

Richards is City's longest serving player after joining City as a 14 year old. Micah made his full England debut in November 2006. In doing so, he became the youngest defender ever to be called up to the England squad.

In total Richards has made 179 appearances for City and as been capped 13 times.
