"It Will Be Difficult" Says Dzeko
Tuesday, 9th Sep 2014 13:22

City's Edin Dzeko reckons Chelsea are our biggest threat during this seasons Premier league. Dzeko will be relied on more than after with the news of Jovetic's injury while on International duty and Negredo's move to Valencia.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News he said;"It will be difficult, but I'm an optimist. As with every season, there are several teams that will battle for the title of champions in England.

"This season Chelsea might be the most serious challenger, but we mustn't ignore Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, or United, who will certainly be much stronger than last year. After all, everyone has gotten stronger, and everyone wants to be first."

Dzeko also spoke of how he handles any criticism aimed at him.: "I am always prepared for criticism. And I am aware when I play poorly and of course I suffer criticism that is well-intentioned. Sometimes, however, it crosses the line of good taste and terms and statements begin to be used that have no connection with the truth and that really disturbs me.

"Criticism as criticism, and not malice, is even necessary to me, but it is far from the truth that I don't work hard in the BiH kit. Sometimes on the pitch I'm not seen as the best, but I give my all and that will always be the case."

In last seasons title run in Dzeko was indispensable scoring 9 goals in City's last 10 games.
