David Silva as insisted that there is still a lot more to come from City as they try to chase down Premier League leaders Chelsea. City had been finding it tough with a three game winless streak before Saturday's 2-4 defeat of Hull at the KC Stadium.

"There is still more to come from us, I think," the Daily Star quotes Silva as saying. "We are not quite at the level we reached last year, when we were better, but with every game that goes we are getting better and better and closer to our very best.

"We have to keep going forward because we have a good team and a great squad, with lots of good players."

City must now concentrate on Tuesday's Champions League clash with Roma.
