Toure Still A Doubt For Derby
Friday, 31st Oct 2014 15:43

City have the perfect chance to make amends for their recent run of poor results when they welcome cross town rivals United to Eastlands for Sunday's lunch time kick off. Last season's two Manchester derby's were a one side affair with City smashing seven in total past David Moyes’s shambles of a defence. In fact City have been victorious from five of the last six encounters. United will be buoyed by their much improved performance against table topping Chelsea last week.

Team News

Lampard is still out of contention with a thigh injury and Silva now joins him after sustaining knee ligament damage against Newcastle in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night. An injury which will see him sidelined for three weeks. Toure picked upa knock in the same game and will be assessed before the game. Nasri as now made a full recovery and will be available for selection.

Radamel Falcao, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Jonny Evans and Paddy McNair could all be available for selection for United after missing recent games with injuries. Phil Jones is a doubt with shin splits.

Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero have both scored four goals in five Premier League appearances against Manchester United.
