Man City have reportedly agreed a deal with Valencia that will see loaned out forward Alvaro Negredo make his loan move a permanent one according to the Daily Mirror.

Negredo, 29, scored 23 goals for City last term but fell out favour under Pellegrini after failing to reproduce his fine form in the second half of the season. He then suffred a seroius injury in the game away to West Ham last season which further damaged his hope of regaining his earlier form.

City are set to receive £25 million pound for Negredo if Negredo accepts the deal.

City paid Sevilla £20m for Negredo in July 2013.
