Only The Snow Could Slow City Down
Only The Snow Could Slow City Down

City stormed to a 3-0 lead at the Hawthorns saturday in a little over 30first half minutes. If it wasn't for the snow stormed which created almost whiteout conditions the game could of easily went on to be a cricket score. That's nine straight wins now and City are quietly keeping the pressure on leaders Chelsea. City were still without any forwards on the pitch but the good news was Jovetic did make the bench.

City started brightly and with less then 10 minutes on the clock they went ahead as Foster dropped the ball straight to Fernando and the midfielder performed an over head kick to make it 1-0.

Julian Lescott was then penalized for a foul on David Silva, and Toure slotted home the penalty to make it 2-0 inside the first 13 minutes.

City continued to stroll towards victory in the first half as Fernando gave it to Jesus Navas, who rolled the ball into Silva who slotted home. 3-0 to City inside the first 35 minutes as the snow began to hammer down at the Hawthorns.

An improved defensive effort from West Brom kept the score respectable after the break, and they finally got on the scoresheet themselves when Brown Ideye turned the ball home after a scramble late on, but it proved too little, too late for Alan Irvine's men.
