On New Years Day City moved level with Premier League leaders Chelsea but no set their eyes on success in the F.A.Cup. City manager Pellegrini has expressed the importance of the F.A.Cup."For our team it is a very important cup. We are eliminated from the League Cup so we will continue in the FA Cup as far as we can. I am very happy with the way we are playing; we have so many injured players but we arrange it in different ways to continue winning."

Team News

City will have to do so without captain Vincent Kompany (calf/hamstring) and strikers Edin Dzeko (calf) and Sergio Aguero (knee) yet again. Fernando could come back in after his supsension. Yaya Toure could be involved for the final time before joining up with Ivory Coast for the African Cup of Nations. Young forward Jose Angel Pozo, who scored his first and so far only senior goal in that League Cup victory against Wednesday, is in line for what would be only the second start of his career.

For Wednesday Joe Mattock is a doubt for the game with a groin issue, though Glenn Loovens (hamstring) could be back.
