No Worries Over Toure But Progress Means No Return
Thursday, 29th Jan 2015 09:23

Manchester City's Yaya Toure took a heavy knock during the Ivory Coast's win over Cameroon in the African Cup Of Nations game. Toure though say's he will be fit for the quarter final game against Algeria. The win though is bad news for blues as the Ivory Coast's progress means there is no way that Toure and City's new signing Bony will be back for the Chelsea clash this weekend.

"There is no problem," Toure said after limping off after 82 minutes of the 1-0 defeat over Cameroon on Wednesday evening.

Toure and Bony could be in Equatorial Guinea until February 8th if the Ivory Coast reach the final of the tournament.

That would mean missing next Saturday's home clash with Hull and possibly the midweek trip to Stoke on February 11.
