Manchester City midfielder Scott Sinclair has today joined Premiership side Aston Villa.

Sinclair joins Villa on loan until the end of the season with a view to making the deal permanent in the summer. Since signing from Swansea City in the summer of 2012 Sinclair has found it hard to get regular first team football at City and has spent all last season on loan at West Brom, but only six games with a further four from the bench.

The 25 year old has only made three brief appearances for City this season and it total has only started two Premier League games since singing for £6.2 million at the start of the 2012/2013 season.

Sinclair who has 18 months left on his current contract at City is expected to be included in Villas squad who face a tough trip away to Arsenal on Sunday.
