City Look To Cut Lead

Manchester City travel to the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday to take on Stoke City. The Citizens have never won at the Britannia but will need to do so if they are to cut Chelsea's seven point lead on them. Stoke have only lost one of their last nine matches in all competitions and are tenth in the table.

Manchester City have no new injury worries. Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony are returning from Ivory Coast's successful Africa Cup of Nations campaign but will not be ready to play

Captain Ryan Shawcross has been ruled out for at least three weeks with a groin injury while both Bojan Krkic and Peter Odemwingie are long term absentees. Erik Pieters will miss out with a groin injury while Stephen Ireland is a doubt with a hamstring injury.
