Another 48 Hours Thursday, 28th Apr 2011 09:26 Only two days to go before the 44th biggest game of the season. Saints head up to West London on Saturday to face Brentford knowing that it could be the day that sees them virtually promoted and anticipation and tension builds amongst supporters as they ponder whether this could be the day. If it is sadly it will have been ruined by Brentford's petty decisions over tickets but that wont stop the celebrating Saints fans should Huddersfield lose at brighton and Saints win at Griffin Park. Never mind the royal wedding the only thng worth watching in London ths weekend is this clash in front of a small crowd in the shadow of the M4 motorway. But this is what we go to football for, this game is all about euphoria and crushing lows and if you are to really enjoy the former you have to experience the latter and certainly Saints have had their fair share of both in the past decade or so. The game is also about opinions and with such a big squad you would be hard pushed to find two Saints supporters who would pick the same starting XI on Saturday and again thats good. So up to Brentford and the conitued revival of Southampton Football Club, long may it continue Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
