yeah she was on as well,i loved her..
saw her at a gig in belfast 25 years on,still had a stage presence but could not move.

also on was ally's tartan army and the jam.
the scots really did think they would win that world cup didnt they ?

Too right! 25-30,000 turned up at Hampden to wave them OFF in an open top bus lol
I was only 12 but it was brilliant. In hindsight it was obviously OTT but it was also a very good squad in terms of what we've had before or since ('74 gave us a taste and '78 built on that i think)

Great as punk was, whether you fancied Debbie Harry more than Kate Bush was the big question of 1978. Obviously "both" was the correct answer but if pushed I was for Kate.

Seeing Blondie in June in Dalby Forest and strangely enough playing Parallel Lines in the car currently. Posting that video is probably the greatest contribution I've seen from Holloway on this message board

Here is a great video of Blondie in Concert in 1977.

Debbie Harry and Chris Stein are QPR supporters. FACT. They confirmed this a couple of years ago on 'Something for the Weekend', when asked by that Watford/Scum supporting knob that used to be on Soccer AM.

Poll: Where will Clive put QPR in his new season preview

There was something sordid about Debbie Harry, whereas Kate Bush was a fragrant English rose. So Debbie Harry for me.

Plymhoop has found the most important evidence of life from that area since the Drake game of bowls was spoiled by the Spanish.

Remember them at LR back in the 70s.

I thought Drake didn't let the Spanish impinge:"Don't worry, we have plenty of time to finish our game and still beat the Spaniards".

I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.
