Wallace can go a long way, but let's hope he doesn't yet Tuesday, 28th Apr 2015 23:49 by pompey-fans.com staff Pompey are hoping Jed Wallace won't move on in the summer - but Gary Waddock has admitted the 17-goal man has many options open to him as his career progresses. The caretaker boss praised Wallace's contribution to the Pompey cause and the way his career was developing ahead of the final match of the season at home to York on Saturday. Waddock told The News: ‘Jed’s a good player, he’s had a very, very good season. He has confidence in his own ability and has shown it this season. He has been very consistent in his performances. ‘There is his goal return as well. To get that amount of goals from the position he plays is very good. He is a big player for the football club. ‘Where he goes next is the million dollar question. Who knows where he will end up? He will have to go and play at a higher level, coming up against better players and will need to produce those type of performances again. ‘The world is at his feet, it is up to him what he wants to do with his career, but he is a talented young player.' Wallace is favourite to land the player of the season title on Saturday.
