The first dates to look out for are June 16 and 17 - that's when the Capitol One Cup R1 draw and league fixtures are revealed. The League Two season begins on August 8, the same weekend as last season began, and ends on May 7, a week later than the 14-15 campaign. The League Cup swings into action in the week of August 11 while the JP Trophy is set to begin in the week of September 1. The first round of the FA Cup falls on Saturday, November 7. And the optimistic types among Pompey's fans will note that the League Two play-off takes place on Monday, May 30 - although the even-more-optimistic will probably believe Pompey won't be needing to worry about that...
