Pompey are hoping Gary Roberts will be fit for the trip to Oxford after picking up an ankle injury in the win over Barnet.

Assistant boss Leam Richardson said: 'Gary will dust himself down, he won’t want to be out for a long time. He rolled his ankle, but he wants to be on the pitch playing, so we will see what happens.

'It was a tackle on Gary over on the far side (of the pitch) early into the match and initially it looked a bad tackle, a bad challenge. Whether the referee missed it or not I am not sure.'

Roberts - one of the Blues' driving forces so far this season - will be keen to be involved as Pompey head to the Kassam protecting the only unbeaten record in League Two.

They have sold out their allocation of tickets for the trip, and have also done the same for the visit to Bristol Rovers a week later.

Around 1,200 fans have bought tickets for the visit to the Memorial Ground.
