Has Cook solved Pompey keeper quandary? Thursday, 28th Jul 2016 21:11 by pompey-fans.com staff Have Pompey solved their long-running quandary over who should be in goal? It was a problem throughout last season as several were tried in goal and almost all made at least one match-changing error. Paul Jones seemed set for another chance to stake his claim at the start of this season and he may yet get that chance. He played the full 90 minutes for the Blues in their 4-1 friendly win at Bognor on Wednesday night. But Paul Cook is set to secure the services of Millwall goalkeeper David Forde. The 36-year-old is set to sign on a season-long loan deal from The Den. Forde played for the Lions just eight times last season, with Jordan Archer taking over his spot.
