Pompey star ready for further international honours Monday, 20th May 2019 22:31 by pompey-fans.com staff Ronan Curtis relfected on a 'great' first season in England as he prepared for another round of international duty with Ireland. The forward is linking up qith Mick McCarthy's squad after what was an excellent personal campaign for him, even if it ended with him left on the bench as Pompey missed out on promotion. Curtis said on Instagram: ‘What a great first season. I can not thank you all (enough) for the unbelievable support throughout the year. ‘It’s a very short break now as I head into the international campaign. Thank you all for the kind messages. PUP.’ Curtis will join an Ireland training camp beginning next Tuesday in Portugal. A squad will be selected from the group for games against Denmark on June 7 and Gibraltar on June 10.
