Some say this was the track that was the cross over between Disco and House? All I remember is my older brother and his mates shuffling to this in there sandles, pegs and grandad shirts!

And whilst we're talking Boys Own.... This one may've been up and ended up a bit of a crossover hit
Here's the mix by Roach Motel that did it for me, very Ce Ce Rogers. The original cover is very Rock the Casbah by The Clash and Joey Negro also fiddles with it nicely but as I say this one is the best treatment of Machines disco smash. Had you grinning on the dance floor

An interjection to the Frankie Friday Clique High Command. I come in peace without Heavy Metal or any other violent unlistenable shyte.
Never mind your dance/rave/humdrum ten-a-penny Bankie Snuffles inspired electro tunes that you need to take a ship load of e's & whizz to enjoy in a drugged up trance #hows-your-father #WhateverTheFookItIsDooDah { What do I know at 49 I'm at least a decade older than you lot,innit?}
Here is a current(ish) record which is really quite good and an absorbing cool video too. A self-styled 'Future classic' indeed. Enjoy:
'I'm 18 with a bullet.Got my finger on the trigger,I'm gonna pull it.."
Love,Peace and Fook Chelski!
More like 20StoneOfHoop now.
Let's face it I'm not getting any thinner.
Pass the cake and pies please.

Yep... not a bad tune 18SOH and video not bad.
However... point of Order! I think at 49 you're probably in the same age bracket as most of the regular contributors on this thread. I also doubt if many of us take truck loads of Class A's anymore (oh if only) I agree there's lots of dance music that is instantly disposable but aint that the case with every genre? Many of the gems people have dug up on here give me a warm tingle and those tunes have proper longevity and will be with me forever -- this thread helped me through a difficult couple of months when I was ill earlier this year. Unfortunately my back is injured yet again (not as bad this time) and the wonder of you tube and it's hidden wonders have my attention again.
Each to their own.
Type in "Nirvana - Girls ( Dj Dima House Mix ) HD (CD)" and I think there's something for all of us there..... I wont paste it up here!

Going for something a little Different to what i normally post, never really liked Speed Garage but did like a bit of the early stuff before it got to Dark , this one on the tuff jam ep is a little foot tapper
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Chaps... if we are having some Bas Noir then let's have some of this. Recently broken down, reconstructed and beefed up as a total dub version but this one is where it had it's roots
Honourable mention to their smash Superficial Love as well.
HAVE A GOOD ONE!
