just shows what a good manager can do without wasting tons of money and just making do with what he's given

This Jason Puncheon fella amazes me

Just what was Warnock doing wrong with him?!??

Well pleased for the Beagle Dogs as my best mate is a ST holder there
I'd love to get promoted just for those two days out next season

he did spend in january but agree he has done an incredible job and has to give us hope, Palace looked dreadful in August and are going to finish mid table, if they can do it so can we

Winning at Everton is a great result, Martinez and Pulis have both been great this year

they have to beat Chelsea at home which I don't think they will and have Palace away which won't be easy. To win it Liverpool have to win 14 games in a row, I just don't think they will

He was superb at Stoke as well, they just got fed up with the football. Keeping them up for all those years was also a massive achievement really.

Also, I never thought Damian Delaney had it in him to be a Premier League regular. Of course he played out of position for us at left back when he was always a centre back but I always thought he was an incredibly limited footballer.

They dont need to win EVERY game. If they draw with the SW6 pikeys and win the others , the silver pot is theirs.

Pulis has done a brilliant job there - far more limited squad than we had at our disposal. Bloody Puncheon for Brazil - what the hell did we do to the guy?
Bit of credit to Bruce at Hull as well as gave them no hope + never rated him as a boss either but will stay up way easier than we did.
Shocker of a performance from City...

Some of the promoted teams have had the fortune of having good options available to them this year - Hull getting Long and Jelavic as a forward pairing (we would have snapped that up when we were up there) and when Holloway stepped down Pulis was available (again, I think most of us would have taken him ahead of Hughes). I can see Palace having a good stint in the Premier League now.

With City failing to win tonight, Liverpool can now draw against Chelsea and still win the title.

Back to the OP, Pulis is manager of the season but Rodgers will get it if Liverpool win the title.

For coming mid table?
Tony Pulis?

Yes because it's Crystal Palace. They were racing certainties to go down when Pulis joined. Now they're safe with 4 games to spare. Compare that with QPR in the prem under Hughes and Redknapp.

They were ten to one on to go down in January. What he has done is exceptional with the limited budget he was given. Fair play to him.

Just seen a little snippet on dot org

I was interested to compare and contrast unfashionable and unpopular TP with HR

We had 4 points when Harry took over and were in the bottom 3
Palace had 4 points when Pulis took over and were in the bottom 3

Harry took over on 24 November 2012
Pulis took over on 23 November 2013

Now I readily admit that if TP had been linked with us I'd of been dead set against it and that's including Hughes & Old Jerky. Just goes to show though that sometimes you just get the right fit.
I also doubt very much that TP, or anyone else, couldve repaired the broken dressing room / squad spirit that Hughesless left us with.

Well done Palace

Not with the current management regime we cant. Get someone who like Pullis ,is enjoying his job and does not see it as beneath him and also get a decent backroom staff to coach and train etc and we might have some hope..
