Play off teams. 18:22 - Apr 18 with 1774 views | Snipper | With today's results, Derby, QPR & Wigan are definates (or 99.99%) for the play offs. Derby are far from certain to finish third, so it's all up for grabs. The remaining games are: Derby. QPR. Wigan Doncaster (a). Leicester (a). Burnley (a) Barnsley (h). Watford (h). Blackpool (h) Watford (h). Millwall (h). Birmingham (a) Leeds (a). Barnsley (a). Blackburn (a) Ideally we'd prefer to finish third. I'm more worried about missing Wigan in a semi final. I'll need Valium to get through the nightmare of the play offs. Lol

Can't see us overtaking Derby. I would be amazed if Derby don't pick up nine out of nine from Barnsley and Watford at home and Leeds away plus at least a point tonight. Out of all those others I wouldn't want to face Blackburn primarily because our record both home and away against them is lousy. [Post edited 18 Apr 2014 19:56]

Play off teams. on 20:02 - Apr 18 with 1471 views | bosh67 | To be honest I don't think any of the teams from 7 downwards will get 9 points from 4 games. I would say we are there but 3 more points from 4 games would make it safe. We will win tomorrow at Leicester.

We've already done them over 2 games this season, they aren't Real Madrid

Play off teams. on 20:44 - Apr 18 with 1366 views | rsonist | Wigan are more likely to bottle it at Loftus Road than they are at Wembley. These games we really need to get back into the early season habit of playing crap, keeping it tight and nicking a goal more so than being fluent in attack. Obviously it would be great to blow everyone away with sweet football but the play-offs are pressure cooker situations. At least away goals don't count, but then I don't fancy us in a penalty shoot-out either... Very much did not like Barton's blog post the other day getting carried away with our stats and big names etc. Underdog mentality keeps us focused, and this side is a terrible one for getting full of itself and being sloppy.

And Danny Simpson has said (apparently) "let's put down a marker" for the play-offs tomorrow against Leicester........

Play off teams. on 21:09 - Apr 18 with 1295 views | stowmarketrange | Wigan in the semis looks a certainy now that Derby and burnley have both won today. We just need to make sure that we are at home in the 2nd leg by finishing 4th. [Post edited 18 Apr 2014 21:29]

Nothing is certain at this stage.Cardiff scraped into 6th in the last game ten years ago and beat us in the final.
Play off teams. on 04:01 - Apr 19 with 918 views | FredManRave | I can only see a Redknapp inspired 2 legged victory over Wigan in the semis and then the even more surprising final victory over McClarens Derby leaving us no option but to lord him and look forward to our forthcoming Premier League campaign with King Harry at the controls seeing out the final year of his contract...

Have already booked the hotel in Wigan on that Friday night to get in before prices surge when the game is confirmed. It's not a bad thing to avoid the possibility of them at Wembley as they look so at home on the Wembley turf
Play off teams. on 08:26 - Apr 19 with 780 views | kingsburyR | Derby winning yesterday bizarrely may secure us 4th. Burnley now have something to play for when Wigan come to town. If they had secured promotion yesterday they would be on the beach from today! So come on Burnley, do us a favour and turn Wigan over. Semi finals, Wigan away first...... hopefully!

My interpretation is that our players are just trying to get fired up.
Play off teams. on 08:33 - Apr 19 with 765 views | actonman | If Wigan get above us and we finish 5th then we can kiss goodbye to a trip to wembley. Not saying we're guaranteed to beat them in the semis but if we have to get a result anywhere away from home in the 2nd leg we can forget it !
