My Dad, Mike Price, the reason I love my team so much & Rs fan of 70 odd years has passed from us.

Last match we saw together was 2-2 at Derby in our promotion season. Only his insistence at waiting until the ground emptied a bit before leaving allowed me to see just one more highlight of that great season.

He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

Rest in peace old chap and I hope we give a performance tomorrow he'd have been proud of.

My condolences to you. I lost my dad in 1996 and still think of him every day. He, too, was the reason for my love of all things QPR. As another poster said, it's hard but you will cope and think of him with a smile. Stay strong.

My condolences, I know how you feel. Lost my mum four weeks ago, she was a huge Rangers fan but due to her not being able to get about in later years stopped going. But I usually went round after games to let her know just how rubbish we'd been that day, in recent years of course. Her favourite player was Dave Thomas and was most upset when they sold him. She was 89.

One hightlight of recent years was when they put that plaque up outside St. Jude's Hall in Ilbert Street to commemorate where the union began in 1882. She got her photo done with Stan Bowles, made her day that did.

So sorry to hear pricey, been nearly 6 years since my Dad left us and not a day goes by where I don't think of him - but as time passes those thoughts turn more often to smiles than tears.
