Any chance the club will do this in an attempt to boost the away following... I think all the playoff matches are on Sky so a lot of fans (given our shocking away form) might need a bit of a carrot to make the effort... Would be fantastic of we could take 2000-3000 up their!

I'd say there's absolutely no chance

But dont worry.

There's a lovely new training ground on the way
Have you heard about the new, modern, state of the art stadium we're planning?

So are you suggesting the board offering free coach travel is the way forward rather than new infrastructure.

Looked on nationalrail.co.uk and Friday trains to Wigan seem expensive. Any away game diehards on here who have views on best/cheapest route to this hellhole?

Until the first brick is laid, I'd say subsidised coach travel would be a decent gesture

Wouldn't cost the club much but would certainly help the fans who need to budget for at least 2 more games (and potentially a trip to Wembley too...)

How about a train? Would be a lot better than a coach.

Trains for me and my daughter are £88 return from sunny Stowmarket, but we can't book anything until we're safe in 4th place. They are 6 points behind but have 1 game in hand,so they need to win at least 2 out of 3,and we need to lose both of ours.

Well, while we're are pushing the boat out, let's not forget we have our own QPR branded plane out there somewhere.
Come on Tone, do the right thing

when i checked trainline no return train back.....unless you get the one that gets in to london at 7am or something....
chartering a train is very expensive.
i'd still prefer cheap tickets.

You are more than welcome to get the window licker special, I'd rather watch Chelsea's CL victory on a loop whilst having to listen to Jay-Z.
Come to think of it, this is more than likely what you will get with the SC.

As a time-saver, fly over Wigan in Air Asia planes and parachute us into the stadium.

Start from Manchester.

Sorry to be so flippant but that's what I'll be doing.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one’s lifetime. (Mark Twain) Find me on twitter @derbyhoop

Possibly more than one.
If it's Wigan, I reckon we'll take 4/5000, at least ticketing won't be a problem there.

Not at all, appreciate the advice and a lot cheaper that route.

Don't use national rail a lot but it appears the whole thing is run by charlatans

Try to split your journey in two parts.
If you get a ticket to Birmingham,Crewe or Stafford maybe.Or try the cattle truck of london midland.com
It still isn't guaranteed that we will play Wigan on the Friday night yet.
