Her obit made for some quite sad reading. E.g. an extract from The Times, " Bryan was easily distressed by bad reviews, and her life had more than its share of tragedies and setbacks. Three of her four pregnancies ended with miscarriages. She suffered bouts of serious depression and became hooked on prescription drugs. She also battled alcoholism. In 1972 she was badly injured in a car crash in Spain.
Her adopted daughter, Georgina, died of alcoholism at 36 and her adopted son, Daniel, suffered from a debilitating spinal disease. Her growing commitment, later in her life, to Christianity helped to give her courage and solace.

RIP Dora

Surprised she lived as long as she did with all her woes and problems, but she was a fine actress of her generation. Can't be many if any of the old 50's/60's Carry On crowd left now. RIP.

There aint half been some clever bastards.
