Odd one this. He's failed a medical but hardly played the last 10 matches at Newcastle and didn't play in the World Cup.

Great if he ends up staying, but he was absent for a big part of Newcastle's season and he does have fitness issues. If we end up relying on him it could just as easily cost us as save us. |  |
