Even coming last means a tidy sum!

The fact we may get the same amount if we go straight down is irrelevant because proportionally our outgoings will have gone up so we're actually stagnent, we're not going to be better off unless we drastically slash our wage bill, sign very few players etc. which will inevitably result in relegation anyway.

Norwich, Fulham & Cardiff made more TV money for getting relegated than Man City did when they won the title 3 years ago.

That's how insane the increase in TV money is and why players are now commanding even higher transfer fees and salaries. We're open-jawed at demands from 'average' players wanting £60k a week but that's comparible to probably £15 a week 10 years ago.

It doesn't matter if clubs get £1m a year or £50m, 99.999% of it will still go to the players anyway leaving fk all else.

Raising the TV money will not bring down ticket, catering, merchadising etc. prices. Perversley it seems it's actually putting them up because everything about the cost of football these days is demand-driven. The prices bear no relation to the actual product.

Any increases in income will go straight to the players (and agents).

meanwhile the rest of football gets approximately £3.29 plus the leftovers from Greg Dyke's ash-tray to share amongst themselves

Neither good or bad to me, it's how it affects QPR and if our income goes up 3x and our outgoings go up 3x then we've stood still.
