Spanish giants Barcelona cannot sign any players until January 2016 after Fifa rejected their appeal against a transfer ban.

Barca were given the suspension, which starts next January and spans until the end of next summer's transfer window, after being found to have breached rules on signing international players under the age of 18.

Barcelona have also been ordered to pay a fine of 450,000 Swiss Francs (£305,000) and been told by Fifa "to regularise" the situation of all minor players concerned.
Meanwhile, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has been told to pay a fine of 500,000 Swiss Francs (£340,000) and told to "regularise its regulatory framework and existing system concerning the international transfer of minors in football" within a year.

I used to like old Barca many moons ago with EL Tel & Lineker there,
Spanish holidays I would always get a Kit (used to have to sew the badge on to )

Used to really admire Barca but they've lost a lot of their allure by allowing their ethics to be compromised - shirt sponsorship, the disingenuous Unicef deal, Neymar and now signing the odious racist Suarez. They'll have to work hard if they ever wish to regain some respect and standing.

They appealed that as well and he is allowed to train, friendlies, do club related stuff now. Just no 1st team matches until the Madrid game.
