Not really surprised. Shame because I actually rate him as a coach and he did well in Norway. I don't think it is easy working under the owner at Cardiff. Seems to be a bit like our mad Italians, but without the 4 year plan. |  |

It was an odd appointment for a club in such crisis and it was an extremely odd job for OGS to take, after turning down Villa, who are in a bit of a state, but not quite as bad as Cardiff. The smartest managers don't pick clubs, they pick chairmen. That makes OGS not particularly smart.
