I fancy something relaxing so browsing through my iPod Hall & Oates? Boz Scaggs? Bill Withers? The Isley Bros? Steely Dan? Tori Amos? Finally I settle for the fantastic ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA
Mr Blue Sky has got to be the greatest feel good song ever?

Whilst I get the sentiment, and appreciate the origin of singing the Blues, come on this is crap.
Just because it’s considered a prestigious genre religiously protected like the birthing right of Rock and all that followed… don’t mean I have to trick myself into believing it’s great.
I went to see Dylan in 2001 at the Docklands arena, it was the worst show I’ve ever had the misfortune to sit through. He sounded like he needed putting down, honestly he butchered all those great songs he wrote when he was able to sing, like properly sing (not that he had a gifted voice in the first instance) but by that point it was embarrassing listening to it. You couldn’t say that mind, the masses in attendance wouldn’t have it that he was way over the top.
Same with Percy, when he gets rolled out these days on some show or whatever Radio 1 festival might be being broadcast, the whole audience gather to watch this demi God aurora of an old man flicking his weave and embarrassingly screeching out some arty farty song he’s come up with which because it’s Plant, it’s really amazing even though it’s total dross. Before Led Zeppelin he was in a band called something like Hebbleswobble (Ozzy’s autobiography) or something to that effect, completely up his own ass.
I did see Plant in 2002, he was pretty good once he stopped singing all this new stuff he'd been working on and just stuck to the classics.
IMHO…

Wehwoo! This Toast_ R did he take Ted's advice to shut the fck up? No he sure as Stamford hell did not.
Just talked a whole heap of spit 'bout some second rate white boys. Zimmerman's voice wasn't spent, he never damn well could sing whatever different spit Bob Willis might tells you.
It's time Toast_ R with the greatest lack of respect, shut the fck up.
Let them that wants to listen, listen. Let them without a sense of taste and history get with Dylan and Zeppelin and think it's the blues and shut the fck up.
