Goal drought costing Foxes — interview on 10:31 - Nov 27 with 464 viewshoof_hearted

"I'd like to think if we stay up and spend wisely, we could become an established mid-table Premier League team again. If you look at how the likes of Swansea and Southampton have done, that has to give you confidence. We've got the fanbase and the support from the owners, so it could happen. Just the small matter of winning another 30-odd points this season to contend with first... "

Says it all. Yawn. Loads of clubs aspiring to mediocrity in the PL to be the fodder for the chumps league regulars. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Mediocrity. It's the dream isn't it? That's why we got Mark Hughes. He had mediocrity written all over him.

Now I am not sure if we can even aspire to aspire to mediocrity.

After all, you have to win the Mini League before you can get into the Mediocre League.

In that interview the Leicester fan points out that they bought Matthew Upson in the summer and he has been injured ever since - so it's not just us that buys duds.

The main difference between last year and now is Rio, Isla and Vargas.

So 2-1 Leicester it is then.

Yeh Upson fits nicely into the "what the bloody hell did you expect?" category that QPR like to fish three or four players a season from. Basically had the cue on the rack for years now, happy to sit on big contracts not playing with a series of spurious injuries. One decent run in a mediocre team in the division below gets him a Prem move and lo and behold he's back on his arse again - See Wayne Bridge last year at Reading.
