Tis the season to be jolly 15:44 - Dec 18 with 1494 viewsrunningman75

Just glimpsed at the championship table and did not realise the woes of Wigan and Reading who went down with us in 2013. Yes we are in the bottom 3 but hopefully the club is moving forward. I am also hoping the contracts given to youth players is a sign of a more positive future though not sure I want Arry to have too much leeway with the cheque book in January.

And Derby, contrary to many a prediction, are not running away with it either.

Please let them lose at Wembley again!

Won 11, drawn 5, lost 5. Only a point off top spot, Can count themselves lucky that there are no runaway leaders this season. Normally get two that blast away.

The chamionship is even tighter than usual this time round, wouldnt be upset if Derby do get promoted to be honest.
I am however revelling in both Reading and Wigans response to play off defeat.
I can picture james mclean's face after constant failures to win penalties.
I have always found Wigan to be well versed in the dark arts since Martinez.

I walked my daughter into school the other day and one of the boys is a Derby fan. As he walked past he said "I'm going to throw my QPR premier league cards away", knowing my daughter is QPR. He got a "Oh Bobby Zamora" straight back, the look on his face was a picture. She gets loads of Sh!t from him when we lose, their only 8 but f@ck Derby now. Amazing what things can change your opinion on another side.

I don't get why people are hostile to Derby. We beat them with a last minute goal, not the other way round.

Poll: Who is the Best QPR Chairman in the last 25 Years?

And this week emphasized the gap between PL and Championship. Both Derby and Bournemouth are top 4 but were well beaten, at home, by Chelsea and Liverpool.

The Man City game told me that.

NO game we saw last season at LR had 1/10 of that quality and entertainment.

Derby appeared to be way over confident going into that Final, like all they had to do was turn up? I guess they were quite bitter in defeat too, and everyone else wanted QPR to lose..... so Derby can ave it!

My dad was a Derby County fan as it was his local club when he was a lad so always had a soft spot for them. Thought they were a good side last year and they probably feel they played the better football over the entire 90 minutes at Wembley, without genuinely looking like scoring.

Don't feel any animosity towards them. Mild ambivalance at best.
