Struggle to see why anyone gets riled up over Redknapp's statements. Once you accept that they are self serving nonsense, diverting all praise to himself, all criticism away from him and liable to contradiction and any second you will be fine.

Yeah they divert all criticism away from himself because he realises he's f'cked up .Thats what get's me riled up.
