A masterstroke.

Why sign players in when you can sabotage the opposition? Palace been on a good run but when Mutch spreads his own brand of lethargy they'll be back in that bottom 3.

Just needs Hoilett to Hull and Traore to Leicester and Harry's work is done.

The real masterstroke is to send Rednobb to manage any other Premier Club and he'll take them down, with an overdraft to die for, at a stroke.

The only positives on this deal is that we got (most of) our money back on a fringe player. I just don't trust Harry to spend it wisely.

Maybe the fans should be asking why it didn't work for Hughes & Mutch with us eh ?

Yep, fully expecting Mutch to do well . & piss me off like Hughes did!
I don't know the answer, maybe Les & his besty Timmy do!

It Is What It Is !!

With our scouting record, we're more likely to get Diarrhoea. Worth a couple of runs in the first team anyway!!

Spot on,

I don't think I've ever been so angry with this club as I am now. I don't think I've ever despised anyone at the club more than Redknapp either ( including Houston and mullery)

A total disgrace, a total fkin joke

CNTS

I'm with you Redknapp is seriously ruining my enjoyment of being a QPR fan right now. Without any doubt he's one the people I've disliked most. I honestly think the only people I've disliked more are Briatore and Bernie ..... all three of the seem to care about QPR as much as each other!

This is not about debating Mutch's ability as a player and his place in a team, it just feels like a shambles.

Everything about this just feels wrong. It's embarrassing

beat me to it Derby - whether or not its a wise decision to have sold Mutch in the first place -and opinion appears equally divided. You just know Redknapp is going the spun£ the money on another crock.

As Whittocks says there really is something toxic about the ownership and management at this club with us the loyal fans who will be here when we are in the Evostick premier are the ones being shafted. TF will still have his airline, beardie will move onto another lego project and Harold will draw in £millions from his Sky double act with junior redknapp.

pleased that I have just forked out £150 for flights to Sunderland......

Not sure. I have to say I saw very little of him at Cardiff, so not sure how good he actually is. His gloves annoyed me, but was he ever given an extended run in the side to build his confidence after an injury?

Just very odd to buy a young player and get rid so quickly. Obviously, Harry has decided that he needs more players and Tony has told him to sell someone to fund the purchases. If the Mirror is to be believed (cough), he started out with 90,000 a week available for loans. If you now add 5 million to that, Harry probably will bring in 3 players. No idea really, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Surely not some old player looking for a few months pension top-up.

Mutch. Palace. Permanent. Confirmed. on 15:27 - Jan 29 by BAWHoops

The issue is that we have the following central midfielders at the club

Barton - Out of contract in the summer. over 30
Henry - Out of contract in the summer. Over 30
Krancjar - On loan and contract up in summer. over 30
Diakite - Farmed out on loan
Fer - Been OK in fits and starts but not consistent
Sandro - Shown flashes but always injured

So next season we will have Fer, Sandro and Diakite to play CM. Mutch should have been coached, trained and worked on. He would've been fine for the league below if required. Now we HAVE to buy at least 2x CM in the summer to replace what lose when we already had a decent one.
He lost his form and it's a useless decision from QPR

Agree. This short sighted piece of business reminds me a bit of the Simpson deal. Selling him because we can . We now just have Isla who probably wont be here next season either.

I still wouldn't be surprised if we bought Simpson back again in the summer if we get relegated (at a loss of course).

Having never knowingly seen him play before he joined us I didn't know what to expect. Is he supposed to be an attacking midfielder? I'm 57 and quicker than he is.

It was exciting to sign somebody under 32 who hadn't previously played for West Ham or Spurs. But then I saw him play for us.

Lots of you (and me obviously) have said this is a joke. Well lets go the whole hog. It's a music hall joke, a pantomime joke, Let's show our appreciation and give Redknapp what he deserves.
If he's still here by our next home game, Southampton, he should be pelted with rotten fruit and veg.
I mean that, save up your rotten veg, eggs, the stuff the dog won't eat and bring it along. If the crook has the cheek to show his face .............take aim.

Hull, but then he failed a medical!

think we had about half a dozen in the queue before we got to Austin; despite redknapp being mates with his family on the coast.

if Hull didn't shit themselves after paying out on Bullard's knee, we'd never have seen Austin in our kit.

Answer my question. Is Mutch a better premier player over the last 2/3 seasons than Barton?

yes, because Joey was in France/banned or the championship for 2 of the past 3 seasons.

hardly set the world on fire this season despite getting to play in his prefered position every week and take all the free kicks and corners (as he is one of the country's renowned dead ball specialists)

in 5 a side every week when i kick it to one of the opposition for no apparent reason, it gets called a Barton by my mate who is a R as well.

Yeah, hardly a stab in the dark though on an unproven talent was it? A striker that had scored 1 in 2 throughout his professional career and had scored 28 the season before he signed.
