On Matt Phillips

On the sale of Jordon Mutch

I can't help but think Fernandes is burying his head in the sand and hoping QPR stop causing him problems. Why, after paying £6m for a player only a few months ago, would he now go along with Redknapp's obvious BS that Mutch isn't in his plans after only 11 games and agree to sell him for a loss? Any chairman with their finger on the pulse would have told Harry to stop being so ridiculous and bloody well make good of the situation. But no, of course Harry, another different midfielder, totally agree, whatever you say.

Jeez people need to get real, it happens all the time in all clubs buy a player for what er reason he does not settle or does not turn out to be as good as you thought he was, so we shift him on. Big deal. What are we supposed to do keep paying a player fat wages who has been utter dross and does not want to be here in the hope he might be half decent or cash in get our money back and use it for a player that might make a difference

Next we will see a collective meltdown over Hoillet going who has been crap under two managers been utterly ordinary in the championship.

Fernandes has appointed twice what seemed the best managers in the market available, funded them both gave the first complete control to bring his head of development who had been working at one of the top clubs. Thats what you do in business, you don't micro manage it, you get the best possible people you can give them a budget and rely on them to do their job well or get rid of them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, you make mistakes and learn from them

It's not just the sale of Mutch though is it? So many massive absolutely God awful fùck ups.

"you make mistakes and learn from them" no evidence of that yet.

Seriously Baz?

"All the time" clubs buy players and junk them in the next transfer window? Really? Has any other club done it this year or last? (Genuine question - I can't remember it happening, maybe I'm deluding myself.)

I cannot remember Gerry Francis, Terry Venables or Dave Sexton doing anything of the sort; and they were not constrained by transfer windows. Closest would maybe be the Clive Allen transfers, but that was Arsenal's decision, and everyone thought it was daft at the time.

Nearest I can remember at QPR would be Ray Wilkins' behaviour respecting Simon Osborne and Ned Zelic. And I thought it was agreed that along with signing Hately that was the all-time low of transfer policy screw ups.

Maybe, it was just as simple as Mutch making his mind up early on.
Talking to his Agent and asking for a move ASAP......the January transfer window.
If that was the case, who could blame him?
As for the others sitting on good contracts, not playing, and letting them wind down.
Who can blame them?
Point the finger at those who dished out the contracts.

And right there, in one set of tweets, do we see the absolute nonsense that is being spouted.

Matt Phillips - the board's clear on what needs to be done
Jordon Mutch - manager's plans

So who has the plan? The board or the manager? IF Phillips fits the board's plans, on what planet does Mutch not? Oh but the manager who signed him six months ago doesn't have him in his plans.

Clueless, utterly clueless, it would be hilarious if wasn't so painful.

it can only be tony told harry theres no money ,so harry had to sell to raise funds to pay or loan or buy a player or tow that can hopefully save us

lets be honest mutch has been poor so far as have so many of our players but he was also one of the very few we could get some money for

I think you're right but the scenario in isolation but none of that changes the fact, this whole thing is utterly embarrasing and confirms what a mess we are in.

TF's tweets are stupid and a massive contradiction.

If he'd truly learnt from his mistakes, he'd be seriously questioning why the hell his highly paid manager signed a promising young player in the summer for £6m, then for what ever reason this highly promising young player, turns to dog sh£Â¥^ and wants out????????

He should also be asking himself why the hell he let his highly paid manager sign players on huge wages like Ferdinand and Krancar and then never play them ?? He should be asking himself why his highly paid manager signed an injured Sandro for God knows how many millions, why he signed players like Fer and Vargas and then play them out of position. He should be questioning why his highly paid manager still says his team is not good enough

He should also be asking himself why his highly paid manger had told him he needs a new striker, then signs one on loan and doesn't play him?????

He should also ask why we have a very talented football player at our club who was signed onto a huge contract and loved by the fans but has since decided he desperately wants out, is apparently never fit and appears to have a terrible attitude. He should be embarrassed that his highly paid manager publicay has a melt down and berated him. TF should be thinking what kind of man management and coaching / training is this from my highly paid manager??

He should then start asking himself why his highly paid manager is for ever in the press making him look like a mug by saying, " we can't afford any new players so we need loans" and forever making excuses about why we are crap and nailed on for relegation.

He should wonder how it could be that after 2 years+ in charge and God knows how many transfers, we approach another deadline day with the likelihood of having that repugnant sight of HR leaning out of his Range Rover saying " I don't what's happening, there's nothing close " and still rushing around with seconds to spare and more players being signed on loan

TF should then realise that his highly paid manager had broken his promise and is well and truly "pulling his pants down"

He should then grow some balls, eat some humble pie, accept that his desire for the "star name" has not worked and is not what QPR are about.... He should then get his highly paid manager as far away from this football club as humanly possible and finally start to properly build for the long term future,

I think the chairman should be asking the manager why he spent £5m of his money six months ago on a player who is no longer in his plans. If he wasn't good enough to start with why sign him? If he's not good enough now, why was he good enough then but isn't any more? Either way, shows the manager up up for what he is. I wouldn't trust him to spend my money.

The fact that TF hasn't asked himself any of that is simply mind boggling.

Amen . All roads lead to 'h' in my book . In at least the football side of things.
'h' is the symptom not the disease''.. seems to be the latest soundbite for the people who do not realise what a KUNT Harry Redknapp realy is.
Yeah he's a symptom . Like pneumonia is a symptom of a chesty cough , or full blown aids is a symptom of HIV
