Burning tracks onto a CD and "fading" them down 23:01 - Mar 1 with 738 views | Lblock | How I long for the far simpler days of two 1200's, my Numark mixer and an external tape deck!! I'm confusing myself on itunes but maybe the LFW tech masssive can help? I need to stick 10 tracks on a CD from my itunes library but what I dont want is for them to be full length I need 2 minutes from first track and then to fade to finish A short gap Then track two to run for 1 minute 42 seconds and then fade to finish A short gap And so on and so on.... Is there anyway you can do this with itunes? If not is there any SIMPLE alternative? My last throw of the dice will be to get my decks out, fire up the amp and Numark and load up something onto my PC and use a vinyl convertor but this has been a mare in the past (plus 3 of the tracks I dont have on vinyl) Any help or pointers gratefully accepted!! | |

Burning tracks onto a CD and on 06:45 - Mar 2 with 681 views | Fearless | If you've got windows movie maker you "should" be able to do this. But it would be a bit long winded. 1. Import tunes into windows media player. 2. Import tunes into windows movie maker from media player 3. Drag 1st tune into "timeline" 4. Reduce track length to required time by dragging end bar back 5. Go to clip on menus and choose fade out 6. Repeat step 5 for each track 7. Save or publish file 8. Burn to disc I'm pretty sure this would work for you - but the above may be over simplified (ie importing from iTunes into media player can be a bit tricky, (and may have to be done by creating an iTunes playlist, burning this to disc, then using disc for import) Other solutions may be better, but hope this helps [Post edited 2 Mar 2015 6:56]
