"Isn't this where due diligence comes in?

In the theoretical event that the 15YO said she was 21 and someone ended up in bed with her, couldn't they cite due diligence and say you was at a over 21 venue so you presumed that no underage females would be there?

Maybe i'm talking bollocks. "

I agree but the law may say "she's 15, end of. Anything else is irrelevant."

The law is there to protect them. I'm sure we've all done silly things at that age because we're too young to know otherwise. Though some young girls seem scarily very sure of what they are doing.
I'm sure in years to come both the girls and the boys will realise how stupid they were but that's what teenagers/youngsters do. In some cases, that may be too late.

This is why it's so important that us blokes need to be really careful. Not just say "well, we're in an over 18/21 establishement". I know that's difficult when alcohol and hormones are flowing but that's when the trouble starts.
It's crazy, blokes can be the victims but have to protect themselves. I'm sure many a genuine person has been caught out unawares. You then get peer pressure, out with the lads. "go on mate, she's gaggin' for it" etc.

Wombats and paulperkers experiences are scarily worrying how it can go very wrong, very quickly and it will always be the bloke(s) that get the raw end because in the eyes of the law, it's impossible for a woman to rape a man (because he must be 'excited' if she does and therefore not rape..... but what about if he's slipped a form of liquid viagra in his drink?.... have they now thought of that?) so they will always fall in favour of the woman and not the man but it's the guilty-until-proven-innocent appalling treatment that has just been described above by others that is where the law needs to sort itself out.

I was lucky the police had doubts from day one , the scars it leaves in ur head dont ever leave though , you want revenge you want the police to do something but are told sorry no can do as it may stop women who have been attacked coming forward system is wrong so many times guys get accused by somebody looking for a pay cheque or trying to get out of wrong doingthere end they remain anymous the guys get stuck through the press etc
worse thing my ex was a teacher who turned out had a drink problem ( I knew nothing about) ended up drinking herself to death 18 months later.

No rumours, no "heard it was", no guesses, no wishes. Stop trying to get us sued.

Sorry... I wasn't thinking!

100% of people who drink water will die.
