awwww, terrible...i remember him coming to rangers when i was about 12, being that age, i was well excited about seeing this swaggering wide boy, who the everton fans called the cockney scouser. ..think he cost about £400,00, which was huge then..i think he came in after paul goddard and gave the place a lift..
12 mins 25 secs....
RIP andy..
"...The monkey is never dead, Dealer. The monkey never dies. When you kick him off, he just hides in a corner, waiting his turn."
Rip Andy remember the first goal on the plastic v pikeys....one of loftus road memorable goals
I thought he was the first to score on plastic. In the days before the internet and fanzines, players used to leave suddenly and no-one ever knew why. I couldn't ever understand why we wanted him to go. Don't tell me it was to pay for Tommy Langley!!
I was 11 when I went to that first game on plastic, he scored the first and we lost 2-1 my dad stopped going after a couple of years of that pitch because he hated the football on it that much. I lured him back in the early 90's but that wasn't hard with that side. I'm 45 next month, where does life go?

The great Ricky hill and I think mark stein scored for them.
All 3 goals down at the school end. I think it took quite a few games before we managed to score at the loft end when we first got the plastic?
