One thing that has kept happening since Flávio walked through the door is a large number of players who don't play at all, or hardly do, after leaving us. It's a mixture of signing players who are too old, signing players with chronic injury problems, signing players who aren't actually very good and paying players way way more than they're actually worth and anybody else would.

I'm reminded of the lot that left when we got relegated in 2001. We were paying over-the-top wages back then too. Ready, Morrow, Kulcsar, etc.
Players like that got seriously found out when they left. Didn't Ready go up to Scotland, lasted about 6 months, then less than a year after captaining us in the First Division he was at Aldershot and couldn't get in their side. Found his level I reckon.

Ukah had a spell of seven years playing in the Polish top division and actually played for the Nigerian national team in 2011!
