Down Syndrome lad launches wildlife book 10:43 - Jul 5 with 2036 views

I've had the honour recently of working with an amazing kid called Oliver Hellowell, who has featured on BBC News and The One Show.

Oliver has Down Syndrome and has conquered all kinds of odds to realise his dream of being a wildlife photographer. He isn't one of our Tiger Cubs but he is a big fan of our lot at QPR and possibly more sensibly, Barcelona. It's his 19th birthday today and his folks have launched a crowd funding platform to raise money to create his first official photography book.

It would be easy to contribute because of the Down Syndrome element but Oliver is an extraordinary photographer in his own right. This is the first ever book that looks through the eyes of a kid with down Syndrome and some of the angles and depths of field are unbelievable. That's because his eyes are set up a little differently to ours.

Anyway, the book costs £20 plus P&P and some of the money goes towards the www.upsanddowns.net cause to help families with Down Syndrome children.
