He does love a big name, but none of those names are that big. Stoke are still keeping him under tight control - his ankle monitor goes off if he's within 500 feet of Joorabchian. [Post edited 20 Jul 2015 20:12]

My theory is that he inherited good stable squads at Blackburn, Fulham & Stoke where he only had to add a few players here & there. Where he had less success was with us and Man City where he had to build squads, that's where he's struggled, hoping that the increase of signings at Stoke means he's taking them apart like he did with us. |  |
