I think McCain told a few porkies about his time as a POW. His nickname was Song Bird for a reason. His record for helping Vets is shocking, he is disliked by many of them.

You obviously don't have clue what you are talking about. There is no chance that Trump will "win" the Hispanic vote if only for the simple reason that only 18% of Hispanics are registered as Republicans. That means he is fighting for a share of less than 20% of the Hispanic vote. Bush is well liked by Hispanics and will lock up the Cuban and Mexican portions of the Hispanic vote. Bush is actually married to a Mexican woman, speaks fluent Spanish, and as Governor of Florida (with high Hispanic population) has been implementing policies that appeal to Hispanics for over a decade. Incidentally, of the 50 million Hispanics in the US, about 2 million voted for the last Bush to run for President and he, as former governor of Texas, was considered the most successful republican candidate with Hispanics in decades.
In contrast to all that, Trump is actively despised by Hispanics. "…the media chooses to ignore that part" Wah wah.. he call Mexicans rapists and you think that a Mexican is going to pay any attention to lip service on patronizing "hard working" kinds of comments. Donald Trump is building his campaign by appealing to the racist underbelly of the Republican party. That might work in a crowded primary field, but there is no chance that it would work in a general election. It simply turns off too many people and to win a national election you need to be able to appeal to a majority of non-affiliated centerists. You can't do that in America with appeals to the racist fringe. The two are incompatible. |  |

Money borrowed eventually has to be paid back (unless you're into souvlaki big time), and it's going to take a President with strong business sense to start that conversation. Clinton Mk. 2 won't do it (although her husband was pretty good). Bush Mk. 3 probably won't do it. Trump would. If it takes 30 years to get into that much debt, it will likely take another 30 to get out of it. Borrowing at the rate done under Obama will cripple the US if it continues. He'll win that vote because he creates jobs, he has created jobs for thousands of Hispanics. When he was asked why Clinton was avoiding him and not attacking him he said that she won't because she has too much to hide. He knows their secrets.
