Be happy with this one if its a two year deal max. Decent Player, a superior option to Karl Henry whose style and ability remind me of a picture from one of my dads porno mags in the mid 70's . The sight of a heavily dimpled ball sac waiting to erupt under the auspicious diktat of a fem dom with cocktail sticks placed in and around the radial artery veins, like a spiral tribe sound system on lay lines, was an arresting sight for an 8 year old with a basin haircut, and a sgt pepper cloth badge on the knees of his flared jeans.
to wit, much the same effect as karl has on my 47 year old self, eveyrtime the clueless doug mountjoy halfbutt pulls on a QpR shirt.
good day to you sirs

"...The monkey is never dead, Dealer. The monkey never dies. When you kick him off, he just hides in a corner, waiting his turn."
Surely this means they are determined to unload Sandro because otherwise it seems utterly superfluous.
Don't see why. Tozser is in the mould of Faurlin who we'd be irresponsible to play week in week out. A quality playmaker from deep is something this team absolutely requires. Against certain opponents we might even try playing both.
Had a read of some Watford forums etc. They seem to adore him much like we would do a cross between Ale and Buz. "Pure class" comes up often. Experienced, sits deep, sprays it about, demon at set pieces. Doesn't get around the pitch very well however and was increasingly targeted by opponents to successfully neutralise Watford's play.
Sounds like just the ticket. I'm quite impressed (coming after the Guedioura bid) that we seem to have a clear idea of exactly what sort of player we want to add. Certainly makes a big change from how we've been doing it til now - sign good players, figure it out as we go while getting beat, crack it just in time to have to sell when we can't keep them.

Makes a nice change in comparison to the scatter gun transfer policy of Hughes and Redknapp.

They know they need a Faurlin with working knees to make the system they're trying to play work. We've won two league games out of two with Faurlin starting, and he's doing it on no knees and only capable of playing for 55 minutes.

As great as it is that they want to play this kind of system, it's slightly questionable that a player with quite such a terrible injury record as Faurlin is so fundamental to it working. Hope this transfer comes off and he can fit the role.

I think it's less that we have planned to make him fundemental, but more that he has done that himself. There aren't many players like him in this league, so it's hard not to play through him when we play so much better when he starts.
Don't know much about this Tozser guy, but he sounds decent, be interesting to see how we incorporate him and Faurlin if they're both available. Angella would also be an excellent signing and exactly what we need at the moment.
