Saw Hawkwind at Bournemouth Academy on Sunday night. Absolutely brilliant. What a show! Great atmosphere, music was like being punched in the chest all night and the visuals were trippy. They even had a dancer, though, out of respect for Stacia (presumably), she remained clothed all night.

The last time I saw Hawkwind live the maestro that is Lemmy was in the band, to this day I don't think the song Silver Machine could have sounded any better, when they started playing it that night the whole audience went mental-superb stuff and how it should be-wham bang and straight in your face.
I also heard Roger Chapman the vocalist from Family on the radio the other day, what a superb singer he was, for those of you who don't know anything about the band Family check them out.
