Tax credits cave in 16:58 - Nov 25 with 7356 viewsjohncharles

Having been beaten to a pulp by public opinion, the press and the House of Lords, Osborn has dropped the Tax credits cuts. Like it was his idea the greasy toad.
Slippery as a bar of soap in a jar of olive oil.

I was always taught that if you don't earn enough money to make ends meet, you must improve your circumstances and by this I worked my back side off and got a better job over the years. You cannot rely on the state (other tax payers) as this is fundamentally wrong and you are putting your life in the hands of others. Equally I recognised that if I couldn't be sure of affording children then i wouldn't have them. If you can't afford housing where you live then you must move to somewhere that you can afford. All these factors I have considered in my life and and I stick to this principle all the time.
Don't forget, Socialism is early Communism where the state wants everyone to be the same, the Blair/Brown government was a shocking government trying to create as many people to rely on the state as possible and this turned our Country into an absolute sham. I applaud what this government is trying to do but it will be a slow process but everyone in the Country will be better off for it in the long run.

You are only in a position to lecture because of the grace of chance and circumstance.

You are only a life changing event away from depending on the state yourself.

To put everyone in need of Tax credits under the same heading of financially reckless is a bit ignorant.

For me relying on Tax credits is a bit like relying on overtime or bonus to meet basic living costs. You cant bank on it being there for ever , its at the whim of people you cannot control . I would worry about that .

Why worry?
We get taxed on everything, the money just gets filtered back to the government anyway.
Anything I'm entitled to from the government I'm happy to receive.

Thats just it , they can entitle you or dis entitle you . The loss of control would be the worry .

I can't really control what work i get or if customers pay me on time or at all. I try not to worry about that either.
