Wanted to look up a Leeds player and came across this.
I think we've done qpr best 11 before on this site. The QPR complete record list 100 leading qpr players but my copy only goes up to 2009. Gareth Ainsworth was in the squad then but not included in the list so there a bit of chopping and changing to be done
Anyone up for the challenge?
Pick 100 then get them in some sort of order, be more fun than watching the Reading game
Interesting. Take a period of success in the clubs history (e.g. mid 70's, early 90's, early 2000's) and then look how many players from each era are in the list of having played more than 100 games. Quite a few in each case. Is it success that meant the players stayed for prolonged periods with us, or because the players stayed for prolonged periods it brought success?

Not big on football in the30's huh? We have any fans in their 90's who would have seen George Goddard play?
I got on a bus with an old boy once who spotted my QPR pin and he told me he'd seen QPR in the wartime 40s. He said that players used to swap sides at half time and you'd often get cameos from international players on leave.
Cant seem to format it for the board but based on goals per game this is our top boys in descending order.

Harsh on Kevin Gallen. Remember, there were no substitutions, so every player played 90 minutes every game. Gallen would have played much less due to coming on at the end sometimes or whatever, also he'd have been playing against teams with 8/9/10 men behind the ball instead of teams with a couple of defenders.
