Genuinely impressed that QPR have managed to be so successful in recognising a young player that was available, pick him up cheaply, ACTUALLY PLAY HIM and then when we realise he might be decent — get him signed up for the long term. Exactly the sort of footballer we should be looking at and shows up this previous mantra of ‘big names = best players’.
Now let’s hope his form doesn’t fall off a cliff now he’s got his long term deal

Really good news. Young player, bought for a pittance, signed up for the best part of his career. He should develop into an automatic first choice, if he isn't already, central defender. And, if we do decide to sell him at some stage in the future it will cost the buying club more with a 3 and 1/2 years to run on his deal. |  |
