Had every intention of watching the first hour of the game but got bored by 10.30 with the pre-match bollox and copious amount of adverts. Christ is this really categorised as a sport! Lets face it the Yanks cannot even come up with a decent idea for a war let alone a sport. And why do they call it football anyway? The only time the pointy leather thing gets kicked is at kick off, a field goal or if the 'offensive' WTF, attacking team has to clear their lines. Other than that it is a bunch of blokes from a DaneLard convention squeezed into kids pyjamas with a motorcycle helmet on smashing the hell out of each other whilst some bloke who realises it is far better to keep out of the way of a 10,000lb blubber fest tries to throw the ball at anyone who may still be standing. And if he fails, it all starts again, all refereed by a couple of blokes in 19th century Newcastle United kits. |  |
