Well let's hope that if he decides not to play Polter that he changes the style of play to suit the players he picks. This is where he worries me, he takes Polter off and yet we continue knocking long balls to, at various times, Washington, El Khayati, Phillips, Petrasso. Mind numbingly stupid. However, I have to say I have seen them a few times this season and other than fitness and a game based on route one they are not actually very good. Amazing run they have been on.

Decent performance but yet another defeat away from home. Nice to see Kpekawa and petrasso getting starts , It will do them good and they will be valuable squad members next season. We're still short in too many areas to mount a serious challenge next season - unless there is some seriously good transfer dealing over the summer.

I can see hill getting another year. Brings so much to the back 4 even now can do a good job. Think Henry will be an interesting one. Does a good job in JFH side, not easy to replace cheaply. Faurlin is the interesting one. May well be worth another gamble as he tends to bring balance when he plays, and if he is allowed to can dictate play and open other teams up with his passing.
The rest? Nah, I think you have the right of it, none look to have much to offer. Angela might be a surprise retention, but don't think he has done enough, and his lack of games recently indicates that JFH probably doesn't rate him enough. |  |

I thought we were the better side, just. One very good free kick (the one time Barton didn't take it!) undone us.
shots: 11 against their 7
on target: 6 against their 2 (the other probably their disallowed one!)
corners: 5 against their 3
We seemed to get it right defensively with Henry acting as extra cover in front of Hill and Hall and using Phillips (sic), Hoilett and Petrasso to spring on the counter-attack.
We really needed two upfront but I think even Moss might have noticed if we had 11 outfield players. I think had Austin been playing we might have got something out of the game as Polter, however good he's been 2nd half of the season, isn't at that level yet. |  | | |
