Although it was at scumford.bridge, the under the bridge club is a.great venue, saw spear of.destiny last week, the blockheads were in a different league, Norman on base was.superb as was Mick Gallagher, didn't recognise who was doing lead vocals but he was brilliant, they did all their classics, sex and drugs and rock and roll, clever Trevor,I wanna be straight, sweet Gene etc, finishing off with hit me with your rhythm stick, did a few I didnt recognise but was still good.

I didn't know this until recently but Ian Dury actually sang "rock 'n' roll don't mind"'. For years it sounded to me like "what a waste, what a waste but I don't mind".

Cheers DD, if you remember it was one of my attempts in the thread a couple of Christmases ago where we had a crack at doing player pictures using MS Paint.

I was also there last night. Fantastic gig and Norman is one of the best bass players I know of.
Great gig and a great venue ( forgiving where it's located).
