I like:

Poppies - the big burnt-orange Asian ones

The Rastafarian flag - the colours, I buy clothing with the colours on

Slow films - the more melancholy the better

Punjab music - big beats, lyrical tone... don't understand a word

Cooking, find it incredibly relaxing and satisfying, usually something that involves grated cheese on top. Fish pie, lasagna, cottage pie. Seeing the cheese start to brown and bubble, looking forward to tucking in.

Snoozing with my dog, just crashing out on the rug for half an hour or so.

You know that weird condom thing that Peperami sticks are wrapped in? That's my favourite bIt.

I properly love being in a beer garden on a sunny day. I don't drink alcohol, so that's kind of weird I guess.

An old man going through the reverend ritual of lighting his pipe, from the initial arrangements of the holy components onto the table to the eventual satisfied first puff. All in good time. Reminds me of my late Grandad.

Chocolate then crisps straight after

I don't believe I've finally found somebody else that appreciates this delight. Everybody I've ever mentioned this to reacts like I'm from another planet. Can't believe this isn't a nationwide craze, but has to be ready salted crisps though. Doesn't work with other flavours.

Agreed!

Cadbury's used to do a bar called Golden Crisp which was ohsweetjesus gorgeous, it was chocolate with honeycomb bits. If Evvy's shop was out of them we'd but Dairy Milk and Taytos and take alternate bites.

Smells.... (havent we done this before??)

For me it's:-
The doggy smell of my dog - number one on my list as she is for me (and I dont mean the wife)
Tarmac / Asphalt - just laid or on a boiling hot day
A freshly decorated room
A freshly carpeted room
(Both of the above with no furniture in... bliss)

Tastes (odd one's only):-
Cheese and chocolate together
Polystyrene
Acrid taste in back of my throat from something freshly burnt

There's plenty of other odd stuff I like but I'll keep my perverted private life private

Putty and sawn wood, separately or together - mmmm. Oh, and the mother of all smells, Playdough. Wonderful.

As for other things, I love butterflies. I have taken hundreds of pictures of them and have managed to see some fairly rare ones, like the Apollo and Europe's largest, the Two Tailed Pascha

Agreed - in fact I enjoyed watching and photographing a Corsair at Farnborough last Saturday - actually it was a Goodyear version (1942?) manufactured under licence from Chance Vought.

Try eating a cherry yoghurt using a spoon with some sticky coffee residue on it. A weird but pleasant taste. The two things complement each other.

The final bowl from a box of corn flakes. That ground saw dust is delicious especially with whole milk.

I'm going to give you a tip here... Golden Wonder Salt n Vinegar,

I used to think that Walkers Salt and Vinegar were the best, but I tried Golden Wonders 'new improved' salt n vinegar about 3 months ago... THE most amazing Salt n Vinegar crisps ever. So Salt n Vinegary.

Honestly, if you love salt n vinegar, you will adore these - try them and then come back and thank me.

Another really odd thing I like — running the hot tap, from cool, onto my hands when they itch (I have hand eczema). The water gets hotter and you keep rubbing your hands under that water until you physically can't stand it any longer. Its orgasmic.

I thought I was the only one until I looked it up on google and discovered a load of people who have similar afflictions say the same thing - orgasmic. It works for any really itchy patch of skin, its like scratching without breaking the skin. Not sure its much good for you though, kills nerve endings or something like that.

Denied!! No sign of them in my Sainsbury's so went for McCoy's instead.

Which brings me on to the next issue. Why do McCoy's do all of their flavours in multipacks except ready salted? Strange but annoying.
